Biography

 

Born and raised in the South of France, Nick Pisa
developed a love of electronic music since his secondary
school years.

Drawing influence from House, Hip-Hop, Dance Music, he
began his journey scratching turntables and later moved to
composing all sort of beats on his Groovebox and DAW.
Later he moved to Montreal to discover a new music scene.
It is there that he experiments several electronic musical
styles through his various meetings which allow him to play
in bars, clubs and festivals as a DJ producer.
His performances oscillate between electronic, hip-hop and
house music.

He then moved to Brussels to get a degree in sound
engineering and continue to explore his sonic journey.
Continuing to mix as a DJ in underground places of the
Belgian capital and produce and release music in an
eclectic way according to his new meetings.
Currently based in Paris, he teaches sound design in a
private school and starts to take a musical turn by taking in
producing minimal techno tracks.

He is particularly keen on offering a modern and pure
sound color, combining digital and analog material,
atmospheric ambiences, heady arpeggios, percussive and
groovy basses.
