Biography

​

 Alex Cristea is a Munich located DJ & producer, born in Avellino and raised around Naples, Italy. As he grew up he immersed himself in the underground scene and started elaborating his own specific sound based between techno and tech house with dark and groovy tech style which he now produces for his DJ sets, aiming at the dance floor. Later on he approached the first clubs and he focused on organizing events in Munich under the name "Tech Chaos". In 2012 Tech Chaos officially got to host once a month on Saturdays own events at the 8Below Club.

Later that year he starts getting his first international performances in the Czech Republic and in Netherlands. He is a resident of the organization “Pillowtalk(Munich)” and he is currently hosting parties at the Harry Klein and Rote Sonne club in Munich.

Aged 20 he starts releasing his own music on various labels. Since then his productions are being constantly supported by the most renowned DJs in the world.

Alex’s tracks such “Green Castle, “Striker Tonight” and “Nachspiel” got played by DJs like Chez Damier, Ramiro Lopez and Richie Hawtin at various locations like Timewarp, Space Ibiza, Bob Beaman Club and Kristal Club.

In summer 2015 he launched his own Label “Dots Music” which got a residency at Harry Klein(Munich), mainly focusing on exposing and presenting his own avantgardiste vision of Music. The first music releases are already on the pipeline for 2016.End 2015 he remixed “Tourist” by Miguel Bastida (Sci+Tec/Suara) on Phantom Deck Recordings, getting another time big support from the scene. On the same month his first Sample Pack has been released on DataGroove Records, making it Number #2 on Beatport Top Downloads just after a couple of days.

Some of his productions are currently signed on Comade Music (owned by Alex Mine, Alex Costa and D-Deck), Patent Skillz(DJ Lion), Groovant Music(Ant Brooks), Datagroove Music(Darkrow), Waldliebe Familien(Horatio), This Is Hot Audio, Qilla Recordings, Da South(The Southern), Phantom Deck Recordings and Kowloon Recordings(Okabi).
